Eurozone Economy 2025: Growth Exceeds Expectations

Amid ongoing global economic volatility, the Eurozone is emerging as a bright spot in 2025. Notably, the region’s growth rate has exceeded initial forecasts.

Therefore, this development not only carries macroeconomic significance but also strengthens investor confidence, especially among Vietnamese families considering long-term investment and immigration to Europe.

Eurozone Growth Surpasses Expectations

According to data from Eurostat, Eurozone GDP in the third quarter of 2025 increased by 0.3% quarter-on-quarter and 1.4% year-on-year. These figures were higher than previous projections.

While many major economies continue to face geopolitical and trade pressures, the EU economy is showing signs of steady recovery.

Notably, growth was driven by countries such as Italy, Austria, and Lithuania, where production and investment improved significantly. Although exports to the United States slowed, the Eurozone maintained positive growth momentum.

Investment Recovery – The Key Driver of Eurozone Growth

A major highlight was investment growth of 0.9% in Q3 2025, reversing the decline seen in the previous quarter. This indicates a return of business confidence.

In addition, domestic demand improved as imports grew faster than exports. As a result, the medium- and long-term outlook for the Eurozone has become more positive.

ECB Holds an Optimistic View on Economic Prospects

According to the ECB President Christine Lagarde, future Eurozone growth will be supported by household consumption and a stable labor market.

At the same time, inflation remains around the ECB’s 2% target. Consequently, pressure for aggressive monetary policy adjustments in 2026 has eased.

Labor Market Remains Stable

Eurostat reported that employment in the Eurozone rose by 0.2% quarter-on-quarter and 0.6% year-on-year.

In Germany, factory orders increased for the second consecutive month. Meanwhile, the composite PMI reached its highest level since May 2023, reflecting continued expansion in manufacturing and services.

OECD Raises EU Growth Forecast

Recently, the OECD raised its Eurozone growth forecast to 1.2% in 2026 and 1.4% in 2027. This reflects growing confidence in the stability of the EU economy.

As a result, Europe continues to be regarded as a safe destination for long-term investment strategies.

Why Is European Investment Immigration Attracting Vietnamese Families?

The Eurozone’s recovery is driving greater interest in EU investment immigration. In particular, Vietnamese families are increasingly attracted by the following advantages:

  • A stable economy and transparent legal framework, providing investor confidence.
  • High-quality education with more affordable costs compared to the United States.
  • Freedom of movement within the Schengen Area, facilitating study and business.
  • Transparent real estate markets suitable for long-term investment.
  • World-class social welfare and healthcare systems, ensuring quality of life.
  • Expanded future opportunities for children in education and careers.

Conclusion

Overall, the Eurozone is entering a more sustainable growth phase. A stable labor market and positive outlook from the OECD continue to reinforce investor confidence.

In this context, European investment immigration has become a long-term strategic choice for many Vietnamese families, helping preserve assets while enhancing quality of life.
